Out of surgery into crucial hours

Dear Friends,

Nan's surgery is completed now as of about an hour ago. The surgeon came and talked to us, Sharon, Dana, Jason and me. She said they had accomplished everything they had hoped to do during the surgery. She said Nan's condition was as tenious as a human being can be and yet be in the game. The next couple days will make all the difference either for the good or not.

We are sending out a request for special prayer that God will bless her with a miracle, that her heart will hold on, that her other organs will begin to work better and that she will begin to improve.

We have been told that in about 15 minutes we can be in the room with her again which we look forward to. This will be the first time Sharon has gotten to see her and for the rest of us we will be looking for the first signs of improvement, right! The surgeon did say that she has a much better chance of having the fever controlled and of recovery with her body closed up, cleaned up and back in order again. I hope and pray that she is right.

It is good to remember that we feel strongly that God has led us to this moment and now we seek His continual mercy for her as she battles to recover.

We appreciate the kind and encouraging feedback we have been receiving here on this blog. It touches all of our hearts to read your words of love and promised prayer. We will continue to update this blog when we get a chance so you can be with us in spirit.

We send our love,

Tim
