ICU visit

Dear Friends,

We are just out of the ICU where we were allowed to visit Nan's room. She was fresh back from the operating room and was getting stabilized. She tolerated the surgery as well as anyone could hope. While there the surgeon was able to remove the 7 packs that had been left in to stop the bleeding, they cleaned her up inside, finished minor surgery elements and then sewed her up. The process took about 3 hours. The surgeon said that there was no way Nan could begin her recovery until her body was closed up and the packs were gone.
The surgeon let us know after the surgery that nan was as sick as a person could be and still be in the game, further that the next two days were vital for her recovery. Issues she faces are weakened heart, fluid throughout her body, poorly functioning kidneys, weakened liver and other issues like low platlettes, some fever.
Surely she is a candidate for our prayers. We thank you so much for the prayers already lifted and we ask that over the next two days you lift her up whenever you can. We do not know Gods will but I think its good to let all of Heaven know what our hearts desires are.
We will go back later to visit again and perhaps depending on how time goes can post again later.
Thanks for the wonderful messages you have sent.

We send our love and appreciation from the whole family,

Tim

Nan is very strong Tim. She will pull through all of this. And while she rests as best as she can it is good to know that so many from the family were able to be there. I think that the reason Nan gets aggitated with the voices is because she can not get hers to chime in. How many things would she giggle with Dana and Sharron with if whe were awake. And she would tell you to get some rest and make sure to eat peanut butter and tomatoe sanwich. Good thoughts are with you and as always prayers and wishes. Take care of yourself and all of you hold tight to each other. You are who will get each other through this difficult time.
    Love to you all,
    Pam

    Uncle Tim,

Thank you for keeping us informed as well as you are. I don't know how you can do it, you're a strong man. Of course we're all praying for Aunt Nan and the whole family. We love you all.

Hang in there Tim and family! The Lord will sustain you. Literally hundreds of prayers are ascending in Nan's behalf. That's the best we can give her right now. The waiting time is difficult, but each day that goes by gives greater hope.

Tim and family, I will lift Nan up in prayer as will the rest of my family. Will also put her on the list for a prayer vigil held at my church this coming Wednesday. May God wrap his loving, healing arms around all of you.

You are all witnessing such faith in God and in His love. I'm elated that Nan has come out of surgery as well as the doctors could expect. She is a remarkable woman and so fortunate to have a remarkable family and friends who love and care about her so deeply. You were all constantly on my mind this afternoon and now we can take a breath and get re-engerized for her recovery.
I'm sure many of us who are of different denominations and faiths will have prayers en mass in churches all around the nation and the world tomorrow morning . Thanks to God for always hearing our praises and requests.
Tim, get some rest and thanks for keeping us informed of our dear Nan.
    Blessings,
    Irene Wing

    Hi Tim,
Just wanted to let you know that I got Nikki and Keanna to the airport safely. Keanna sang us songs and talked with Kayla all the way there. I think Nikki said she will arrive at about 7:30am, she didn't call you from the airport cause she thought it was to late.
If there is anything you need me to do, please don't hesitate to ask. The doggies and fishes are fine, Star is waiting for Nan to come home to her.
Nan is in our prayers, and thoughts always. She is a very strong lady. Please don't forget to take time for you too.
    Thanks for the updates.
    Lv,
    Loree
