Tuesday evening

Dear Friends and Family,

Nan is resting having had a good day overall. We got up around 7 and then the nurse came for a helpful visit and to take blood work. Nan went up to sleep about 11 and slept for several hours while I worked. During the day Steve and Keanna dropped by but by then nan was asleep, Keanna was disappointed, she loves to talk to Grammie. She and Nikki came this evening and made a yummy dinner, corn, baked potatoes, pasta and brought grapes as well. It was such a special time to watch Keanna at work and to get to eat with Nikki.

The nutritionist from the home health organization called today and had several important suggestions. She is going to work out cutting the TPN back to 18 hours so nan will have some free time without a tether connected. She also has suggestions for nans general health and made her self available to talk to at any time. She says that in general nans numbers are looking pretty good but a liver number is gradually climbing, happens when one is on TPN and she has a plan to deal with that.

Nan got a nice card from my sister Sibyl today. She lives in Ohio and we have recently reconnected. It was wonderful to hear from another part of the family. We look forward to talking and emailing a lot to catch up for the lost years. Sibyl is about 8 years older than I am, has a wonderful singing voice and has lived in Ohio for many years.

We were blessed with more orders today, love to hear the fax machine cranking out the orders. This will be a challenging week money wise as a lot of things are coming due it seems. Nice to be able to talk to the accountant upstairs about money. He has helped us so many times over the years in highly unusual ways.

We are saddened by the death of the crocidile hunter, have enjoyed his work, movie, TV shows for years. Two little children have lost their father.

We were so glad to hear from Dolly today, she is the person who along with her husband Howard taught us the business we now enjoy. She is such an inspiration to both of us and makes a heavenly desert which we love.

We send our warmest greetings tonight and are thinking especially of Nate who is recovering. We got great news today from Dana, her doctor appointment went well and the tumor threat turned out to be a torn rotator cup in her knee, if I am getting my info correct. Anyway she is happy about the visit.

We send our love,

tim and nan

So good to know that you are now in contact with your sister. I have 4 of them and would be lost without any one of them. Family is so important, a true life line. Will be fun to hear all about her.

Hope you have a good day. Remember, one day at a time. Will call you later today, somehow I feel better when I hear your voice, it tells me alot!

    Love, Sharon
