Friday night, safe and sound

Dear Family and Friends,
Its over, this week that is and God has been good. nan has had an amazing week, fixing dinners, moving about on her own in spite of being in the hospital for 3 weeks flat in bed, very little nausea, weight is up and spirits are pretty good overall.
High points of the week include: seeing Keanna and her class lead out in Chapel at her school, coming home wed. evening to find Nan had dinner ready all on her own, calls from Nikki and Jason, calls from Sharon and Dana and others, nurse call to say Nan's numbers looked good as of monday morning. Excellent nurses visits and wound care nurse saying incision wound was much much better.
Now I am home from a very long 12 hour day to Oakhurst and ATwater safely. Nice to talk to Nikki, Art and nan as I drove, really helps the miles pass by.
Tomorrow morning nan is going to try to go to Sabbath School with Keanna, that would be a miracle if she can manage it. Her idea and we sure will support her if she wants to go.
Thanks Mary for coming and cleaning up the dishes today, it was so nice to come in this evening and find clean counters and Nan in the kitchen cooking.
This is going to be short since I am very tired and Nan is begging to have some attention to her feet one of which has swollen some. It is a very tangible way I can help Nan feel better, rub her feet.
Thanks for your financial help which Loree deposited in the recovery fund today. Finally today the dam burst and some checks came in the mail, will at least cover payroll which is a very good thing for which we are very thankful.

So we send our love and appreciation of your love and concern for Nan.

    Happy Sabbath!

What a great blog to wake up to this a.m.! So much good news. Nan is puttering in the kitchen again, numbers are good, little nausea, checks coming in, attentive nurses, wound is healing (finally), Nan going to try to go to Sabbath School with Keanna, Tim had safety on the road as he drove 100's of miles this week. Wow! That's a LOT of good news for one blog.

It's another beautiful a.m. in NC with the sun coming up over the lake. The daffodils are beginning to bloom and the air is clear and crisp at 40 degrees. It should be in the 60's today. We are ready for spring, but it is a little early to get too excited. There is usually one more snow fall before we get too serious about spring. I'm sure it is beautiful in CA with the almond blossoms and peach blossoms beginning to come out. I have heard that they are late this year, however.

Have a great day! I hope you aren't feeling so good that you over do and set yourself back though. Take it easy!

Continued love and prayers ~ Carol

    Hi Tim & Nan,

So good to read that Nan is doing better, Your Drive for the Day was a safe one, and $$ in the Mail. Praise the Lord !

We are looking at a beautiful Bright Sunshine Day and trust that you will have the same.

A trip to Sabbath School would be a real treat for Nan, hope that She can manage it with out too much discomfort. Watching the little ones is a big lift in so many ways.

Have a comfortable Sabbath Day and enjoy the rest that God intended for Us to have in it.

    Love & Prayers,

    Bob & Carrol.
