Nan gets to hold baby Timothy

Dear Friends and Family,

We are home from MBA after a quick trip that turned out wonderfully. It was so good to see baby Timothy, Jo, Jason and Grammy Julie. Timothy is a beautiful little boy in every way. He is strong, moves his muscles, opens his eyes, turns his head and just charms you in a second. Jo is such a good mom and is gradually growing stronger but is still having antibiotics to deal with some stubborn infections. All three are getting used to Timothy's schedule of feeding, resting and then feeding again.
Nan got to hold him many times including an afternoon time when she fed him his bottle, burbed him and they even took a nap together. Nan slept well last night with minimal pain meds and maximum sleep. We didn't really wake until 8 this morning. The weather was blissfully cool there and we enjoyed having our windows open. We arrived there last evening and left this evening at about 7 arriving home around 10. It seemed I hit every bump in the road and Nan felt them all but we had a safe trip and so did Dana who followed behind in the van listening to her Harry Potter book on CD.
I have included some more photos of our little dude and we send our prayers for the little family as they adjust to this precious new arrival. We thank them all for letting us visit and enjoy this precious person.
Tomorrow we are required to take Nan to the doctors office to sign her application for AMN107. Does that mean we get the drug tomorrow? I don't know and neither did the person in the office. We are so thankful that it is getting closer. Nan is much stronger now than 3 weeks ago. She handled the steps into the motorhome very well and can not sit up by herself and stand quite well too. Her mind is clear and she even corrects me at times, like I would ever need correcting?
Please keep Nan's tumor grown before the Lord asking Him to deal with those nasty things in His way.

Love
tim and nan and dana and john

    Good Morning!

Yup! Grand kids are really good medicine. Nan just needed a Grand kid fix ~ that's all. So now you have 2 of that good medicine. There's nothing like it. How very special is that? Nan looks so content holding that little guy. Every bump in the road was probably worth it to get there.

We hope today goes well for you and you will be able to take that AMN home with you. Most of all we pray it will shrink those nasty tumors.

We're off and running early this a.m. It was a short week with the kids here and the extra activities this week. Grand kids are even more fun as they get older.

May God direct your paths today. We pray for less pain, shrunken tumors, no nausea or fever. Bask in the memories of your time with little Timothy!

Continued love and prayers ~ Carol

    Good Morning ~
Good news all around and Nan looked so peaceful holding that little bundle of joy. I loved your description of Timothy - charms you in every way - spoken like a true Grandpa.

Prayers today for the AMN to get started and that it will work.

    Love, Marilyn

    Hi Tim and Nan,
I'm so glad your trip to visit little Timothy was so wonderful. The photos sure prove it. I'm sure it was too quick of a trip but very satisfying. Now that Nan has had her "fix" she will certainly be in the best shape as she prepares for the AMN to start. As you (Tim) remind us of what Nan was like 3 weeks ago, we can feel more optimistic about what is to come. Trusting in the Lord that with Nan's determination and His love, we look forward to many good days ahead.
    Love,
    Irene

    Tim,

Great pictures. I am so happy that you, Nan and Dana had a safe and enjoyable trip so far. Lots of good fortune coming your way. I pray that it continues. I wonder some times if those who have a harder journey are happier when they arrive at their destination than those of us that had an easier journey? Maybe we can talk about that sometime. Until then I wish for you and Nan as happy as possible journey to your next destination without decreasing the joy of the arrival!

    Wes
